Kisikohk School, Witchekan Lake First Nation, SK 2023-2025

Art for Aid, along with the Rotary Club's Indigenous Peoples Partnership Cluster (IPPC) was able to provide Kisikohk School with 30 safety vests, toques, and gloves so youth can be warm, seen and safe while learning land based skills in their community. We are deeply grateful for these partnerships that allow us to support such important work.

Oct 2023 we were able to support their program with sent 17 boxes of equipment that included toques, pocket fishing rod kits and waterproof winter boots for 25 students. The Kisikohk School is located in central Saskatchewan just north of Witchekan Lake in Treaty 6 Territory. They have a new land based learning program being launched this year.

Supplies were shipped by Canada Post on September 1, 2023. We look forward to seeing the pictures of their program in action in the months to come. Many thanks to Cheryl Ann Thomas for putting the program together and helping us to deliver what was needed.
