
Guidelines for Collections on AFAP's Behalf
Art for Aid is grateful for the support of individuals and groups who wish to organize independent fundraising initiatives. To protect our mission, our donors, and the integrity of our name, the following guidelines apply to all third-party fundraising activities.

Art for Aid is grateful for the support of individuals and groups who wish to organize independent fundraising initiatives. To protect our mission, our donors, and the integrity of our name, the following guidelines apply to all third-party fundraising activities.
1. Authorization Required

Any individual or organization wishing to raise funds on behalf of Art for Aid must receive written approval in advance.

Requests should include:

Organizer name and contact information

Description of the event or campaign
-
Fundraising methods
-
Timeline and location (if applicable)

2. Use of Name and Branding

You may not use the name “Art for Aid,” logo, or branding without prior written consent.

Approved fundraisers must clearly state:
“This event is organized independently in support of Art for Aid.”

You may not imply that your fundraiser is officially run, managed, or endorsed by Art for Aid unless explicitly authorized.
3. Transparency and Accountability

All promotional materials must clearly explain:

How funds will be collected

The portion (or percentage) of proceeds that will be donated to Art for Aid

Misleading language such as “all proceeds” must only be used if it is 100% accurate.
4. Handling of Funds

Whenever possible, funds should be directed securely and directly to Art for Aid through official donation channels.

If funds are collected by the organizer:

They must be submitted within 30 days of the event or campaign end date

A summary of funds raised must be provided

5. Prohibited Activities
To protect donors and our organization, the following are strictly prohibited:

Soliciting donations without prior approval

Using Art for Aid’s name to collect funds for personal or unrelated use

Misrepresenting affiliation with Art for Aid

Conducting fundraising activities that are illegal, unethical, or inconsistent with our values
6. Receipts and Tax Information

Only Soaring Circle, the Charity that Art for Aid is a project under, can issue official donation receipts.

Third-party organizers may not issue tax receipts on our behalf.
7. Right to Decline or Revoke

Art for Aid reserves the right to deny or revoke approval for any fundraising activity at any time if guidelines are not followed.
8. Reporting Misuse
If you suspect unauthorized fundraising or misuse of the Art for Aid name, please contact us immediately at:
