Kullik Ilihakvik Elementary School, Cambridge Bay, Nunavut

Cambridge Bay is a hamlet located on Victoria Island in the Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut, Canada. It is named for Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge, while the traditional Inuinnaqtun name for the area is Ikaluktutiak or Iqaluktuttiaq meaning "good fishing place".

The Art For Aid Project received a call from a volunteer who offered to bring art supplies to the local elementary school in Cambridge Bay. We were delighted to have this happen so close to the end of the school year. In September when the children return to school, there will be a fresh infusion of supplies awaiting their wonderfully creative hearts.

Thanks to Tiffany Thornton for taking them to the school for us!
